As optometric physicians, our doctors are also able to treat almost all eye related problems short of surgery.  They are able to prescribe medications and diagnose and manage some of the most serious eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.  Our clinic offers digital retinal imaging and OCT technology that allow the doctors to carefully monitor the development and/or progression of diseases that can potentially rob individuals of their vision.  Most eye diseases progress slowly and painlessly and the only way to diagnose them and prevent visual loss is through regular and careful monitoring.
