We are also excited to introduce the all new Optos Daytona. This state of the retinal imaging system gives an unprecedented wide angle view of the inside of your eyes without the need for dilation. Not only does the Daytona give our doctors the ability to screen for retinal detachments and tumors, but it also allows for the detection of cells that are dying as a result of systemic diseases such as diabetes. The Daytona now gives us the ability to look deeper into the eye than traditional retinal evaluation techniques. Because serious eye conditions can occur at any age, we recommend retinal screenings for all of our patients.
